Description
Bee bread is made by bees as their food for the cold month of the year when they have to remain in a beehive and can not fly outside. Starting from early spring to late autumn bees gather pollen from different types of flowers, put it in wax cells, mix it with honey and secretions and seal the cells. Then the fermentation process starts. Beekeepers take out bee bread from hives in late autumn, freeze the frames and put in a cool place to keep the appropriate temperature and humidity.
