Description
Made by Moorlands Candles in Cumbria they are hand dipped by Ted Thompson and his team. The dipping process results in the tapered shape of the candles where thin layer upon thin layer of beeswax is built up by repeatedly dipping and removing the candle wick into the liquid wax. Beeswax candles release negative ions when burned. Anything from dust and pet odours to bacteria and toxic emissions from flame retardants on household furnishings are floating in the air around you because they are positively charged. Negative ions released from beeswax candles bind with positive ions in the air to create a complete molecule. As a result, positive ions carrying become heavier and fall to the ground.
