The lemon tree originated in south-east Asia, but was introduced in the second century AD to the Mediterranean where it quickly adapted. The Ancients used the peel to perfume clothes and repel moths and other insects. The scent is clean, fresh and light, with a refreshing character.
Possible skin irritant - apply in moderation. Do not use on skin exposed to direct sunlight-can cause skin pigmentation. Not suitable for infants. Store away from children.
