Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus - a member of the Araliaceae family), is a thorny plant which grows wild in the far east of Russia and is a delicacy greatly prized by deer. It is an old medicinal plant with a myriad of applications. It is essentially a harmony remedy with similar properties to Panax Ginseng - the Oriental harmony medicine, highly valued and revered by the entire Orient for thousands of years.
Harmony remedies were the most important medicines available to traditional healers in the Orient, and their properties are only now beginning to be appreciated by the West.
