Nutramedix Barberry is a herbal extract made from the root of Mahonia aquifolium, commonly known as Oregon Grape. Historically - the indigenous peoples of North America treated all manner of complaints with Barberry. Traditionally, a tea made from the root was used to treat arthritis, diarrhoea, fever, and to support immune function.Barberry contains many Alkaloids, including Berberine, Berbamine, Canadine, and Hydrastine.
